Printing to Windows from Mac OS X

Hello pluglist,

  Since someone posted a Mac question, I will too. I have an Epson
  Stylus C82 on an XP box and I am able to print to it just fine from
  my iMac running OS 10.2.6 using a Gimp-print driver. I installed a
  Samsung ML-1430 laser printer on the XP box yesterday and I try to
  set it up on the Mac the same way I did the Epson, but no driver was
  injected into Print Center by Gimp-print. Also, even though I have
  an installer for the Mac from Samsung, it does not insert a driver
  into the supported printers list either. So alas, I have no way of
  telling Print Center what type of printer I'm trying to connect to.
  Any ideas? Thanks.
