A group statement on SCO's actions

>From another standpoint, SCO wasn't really known to the public until the
controversy started in the first place. Perhaps not bringing any more
attention to them would help our case more in the long run.
If there is publicity brought through the Linux community, perhaps it
ought to be such as what OSI did, and educate, rather than make people
feel sorry for the Linux community. Perhaps educating people on matters
such as SCO didn't invent UNIX, and the fact that Microsoft has vested
interest in SCO, and other matters that aren't necessarily name-calling,
but telling the public who SCO really is. Making sure the whole truth
gets out if anything is going to get out at all is what I think is the
responsibility of the Linux community is.
