A group statement on SCO's actions

Matter to SCO? Probably not. But just like when a few colonists got
together and put together a little statement and wrote to England saying
that they didn't want to be part of them any longer.......

I imagine that it could also be looked at in a light very
similar to voting. That your vote doesn't really count. What good is
one vote (my vote) going to do anyway, right? I would take the other
side and say that it doesn't hurt to put forth a statement and let
people know what you think. We live in a free country and we can say
what we think, so why not? It could only do good.

	A statement would've helped Jayce.

Do you really think it of any consequence to SCO though? We really
mean
next to nothing to their success or failure... why should they bother
with what we think?

Well, I see some use for it. It helps show local companies what local
people
think.

For example, yesterday I was interviewed by the Provo Daily Herald
about
the
situation (along with Evan, the BYU-UUG president, and Chris Sonntag
of
SCO)
about this whole situation. Something like that would have been very
good to
provide the reporter with, as he was looking for input from the local
people
affected by this case, and actions.
