I'm having a problem with apt on RH 9. I installed MySQL 4.1, and
since then apt-get [install|upgrade|check] gives the following
error:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
MySQL-shared: Depends: libcrypto.so.0.9.6 but it is not installable
Depends: libssl.so.0.9.6 but it is not installable
E: Unmet dependencies. Try using -f.
This despite the fact that openssl096 is installed (which means that
/usr/lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.6 and /usr/lib/libssl.so.0.9.6 are both
available on the system).
If I have to choose between the two, I need MySQL 4.1 more than I need
apt, but I'd rather have both of them working. Suggestions?
Thanks
Gary
