I'm a little confused....

SCO claims that IBM people copied SCO Unix code and made it publicly =
available to the Linux Community, while
at the same time using this copied code for their own use. Correct?

So how did IBM people get access to SCO code. I suppose it wasn't =
compiled, what?

And now that this has allegedly happened the Linux distros are in legal =
jeopardy because they take the latest available Linux code from the =
Linux community and make a distro out of it. Correct?

The last question I have is why would anyone pay for SCO, when I can get =
any distro of Linux for free, with tons of free software?
I don't see the advantage of buying SCO, what do they offer that the =
distros don't?
