At work or school or whatever network is great. It's nice to get 10-15
systems up fast. Even then it's just the packages off the CDs on a local
drive you are installing from.
I would recommend the disks. I have copies of 9 that I have said in the
past I would give (you got to LOVE the GPL and the other free licenses) to
anyone who didn't want to download or buy. I'm in Orem and at
gabeemilybin at hotmail.com if you want them. Why download what you can burn?
If you are using RH, I would recommend installing apt-get. It will make
life for you a lot easer. Red Hat's Up2Date is nice but works only with
packages that they put out. Apt-get will find packages, resolve
dependencies, and keep them updated for you. This removes one of the biggest
stumbling blocks when starting with Linux.
