Yes, you will need to configure your linux box as a samba server to see
linux drives from windows.  You may want to try:
service smb start

and try to connect from the windows box.  I believe RedHat still has
pretty sane defaults for their samba install.  In order to connect to
the share you will need to run:
smbpasswd -a username

with your username filled in on the linux box (this has to be run as
root).  Then you should be able to connect to your home directory from
the windows box using your username and password.
