This is what the rest of the 'X' world calls x-terminals. At my work we
used x-terminals allot. A few years ago we evaluated 'Thin Clients',
which were just beefed up X-terminals. By the way we use HP systems,
servers and xterminals. I also have used IBM servers and xterminals.

The process is essentily the same, except the x-terminals would download
their 'OS' from the server. We use old, i.e. 6+ years, HP servers. The
biggest performance issue we had was screensavers, they used alot of CPU.

I have wanted to see if I can get my x-terminal to use a Linux server to
download its OS. I have been able to get a x-terminal to logon to a
Linux server, using gdm, but it got its code from a HPUX server.
