Why does my woody system keep crashing?

Hey everyone - I have a problem.

My Debian (woody) server keeps kernel panicing... and I can't figure out
why.  I have not made any really significant tweaks to the system software
wise, and I have swapped out every single piece of hardware except for the
ethernet cards.  I'm at wits end.. every 3-5 days, the server locks up...
:(  Oddly enough, I can still ping it when it is locked up, and the
firewall still does the nat and port forwarding to the internal network..
but I can't ssh to the box, nor can I get it to do anything else useful..
I am force to do a hard restart.

can anyone help me figure out what may be the cause and diagnose what I
can do to fix it?
